دستگاه ان وی ار داهوا مدل DH-NVR2216-4KS2 یک رکوردر 16 کاناله است. شما می توانید 16 عدد دوربین IP داهوا در سیستم خود به این مدل NVR متصل کنید. دارای 80Mbps پهنای باند ورودی و خروجی بوده ضمن اینکه کیفیت تصویر 8 مگا پیکسل است. ان وی ار داهوا مدل DH-NVR2216-4KS2 برای ذخیره سازی از دو عدد هارد با حداکثر ظرفیت 6 ترابایت پشتیبانی می کند. پورت های خروجی این دستگاه شامل HDMI، VGA و LAN است.
کدینگ های فشرده سازی از موثرترین عامل در ذخیره سازی تصاویر است. این فرمت ها با فشرده کردن اطلاعات بدون اینکه از کیفیت تصویر کاسته شود تصاویر را برای ذخیره سازی ارسال می کنند. در نتیجه نوع کدینگ و فرمت فشرده سازی در میزان مصرف هارد و پهنای باند ورودی نقش مهمی ایفا می کند. ان وی ارها همانند سایر دستگاه های ضبط کننده برای ذخیره اطلاعات دوربین داهوا نیاز به هارددیسک دارند.
